I’ve Studied Early Childhood Education with 2 years professional experience through OCM BOCES and 7 years informal experience as a babysitter. I’ve worked with ages 6 months through 10 years, though most of my experience has been with children of preschool age. I currently work full time as a DSP in a group home working with adults with developmental disabilities. As working with children has always been my passion I’d like to get back into childcare and figured babysitting was a good place to start as it could work with my current schedule. I encourage play and choose games or crafts over electronics and feel a hands-on approach to learning is most suitable for children, and more fun for the child in the long run.
