I became a baby sitter because I had to be home for a period of 2 years to handle a family illness I watched a child after school until the parents picked him up. He was in my care from age 4 - age 6. Besides snack and playing we also tackled homework on a daily basis. This experience reaffirmed that the point in my life that was the most rewarding to me was parenting my son and when my child turned out better than you expected obviously I did something right and no parent can ask for more than that.
