I was an Au pair from August of 2012 to June of 2014 in Washington State and New Jersey where I worked for 3 different families. The first family had 6 children of 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, and 5 years old and 4 of them had special needs; the second one had 4 children of 12, 8, 5, and 2 years old; and the third one had 2 children of 7 and 4 years old. It was part of my duties to watch the kids, drive them to school and their regular activities, help them with their homework, do their laundry, cook their meals, keep their rooms organized, play with them, change their diapers, organize play dates and fun activities, etc. Before being an Au pair I taught children between 6 and 8 years old at the church for 8 years, did volunteer worker at a daycare for kids Read more under 2 years old for a few months, and regularly babysitter my cousin from the time he was a baby up when he was 8 years old.
