When I was eight I started babysitting for women in my neighborhood who worked from home. Since then I have babysat for many families with children of all ages. I even nannied for a family with children ages 9, 8, 3 and an infant. I spent two summers as a Girl Scout camp counselor before I became a substitute teacher. I spent seven years as a substitute teacher in grades preK-12, including working as a paraprofessional with children who have special needs. As a theatre practitioner, I enjoyed teaching drama classes for children and directing children's plays. I have always enjoyed working with children. I am eager to continue teaching and playing, always trying to make babysitting into a fun adventure that is physically engaging and mentally stimulating.
