Hi, For many years I raised my own 2 children, worked part time and helped many other parents with their children in my community. I come down to the child’s level, but treat them in a mature way. Being a good listener, helping them with their own needs and having fun is what I have seen a child or teen likes. My approach to the children & the parents is clear communication, understanding & flexibility. For 8 years my husband & I had a full time nanny, from 8:00 to 5:00, but I had my own business, worked out of the home and was very inclusive with the nanny… If she was tired or needed to get a lot done in a day I would jump in and help change sheets, do laundry or run the children to their activities. We both did what needed to be done on a Read more daily basis to make the entire house run smoothly. I am a team player and knowing what I liked from a nanny has made me a better caregiver in babysitter myself. I am very reliable, extremely honest, super clean and patient with people. My two daughters are now babysitting through college and are excellent, probably because they had a very inclusive mother and an excellent nanny.
