I've been babysitting since I was in high school and right from the start I knew I wouldn't see the job as a job because of how much I enjoyed myself while working. I've taken care of my niece since before she could even walk while my sister slept and so that's where my love for children came. That would really be the only time I ever got excited to wake up so early. I've also worked as a live in nanny for a couple for a whole summer and got to spend time with some really nice girls. I like to make sure the kids have a good head on their shoulders and that they have fun while in my presence. I am strict because I also like teaching, but also because I like knowing that kids that I've babysat have gotten more than just babysat while in my Read more presence. I like to make an impact on them and so I know how important having one babysitter and not many plays a role on kids. I'm studying psychology, so I can encourage kids when they're low and make them feel confident about themselves. After all, they're our future, right? :)
