Hello! My name is Haleila, and although I don't have experience with sitting in particular, I have experience with caring for children, as I have been a lifeguard for four years. For three years, I worked at a state park that was visited often by various day camps, and last summer I lifeguarded at a summer day camp as well as taught swim lessons. I know how to keep kids engaged (and simply listen so that they know someone is interested in what they have to say), and let them have fun while doing so safely. I have experience with first aid and I am CPR certified. I really find that spending time with kids, laughing with them, and being the person that they can trust and feel safe with is one of the most rewarding feelings.
