My babysitting experience primarily stems from my family. I am the oldest of three girls and had been responsible for giving my sisters' breakfast, getting them dressed for school helping them with homework, and getting them ready for bed at a young age. Furthermore, I live with my uncle's family and often watch over their three kids at once, ages 5-11. With their parenting style they preferred that I took on a more hands on approach with their kids. So as opposed to having them watch TV we would play board games and do arts and crafts after having helped them finish with their homework.
