I started babysitting when I was 12 years old until my senior year of high school. Once I graduated, I received a summer job working with children with disabilities and worked during all of my holidays from college. Once I graduated college in 2010, I started working full-time for a preschool class through BOCES working 1:1 with students with special needs. I helped my students with academic needs, as well as everyday needs. It was very rewarding watching my students succeed and achieve their goals. I worked for BOCES for a total of 6 years, resigning in June 2012 for an internship opportunity. After my internship, I started a nanny job through Care.com and cared for my now 5-year-old daughter and another girl the same age M-F from Jan-Aug 2013. I am currently subbing for Penfield Central School District as a Teaching Assistant a few days a week and I Read more also babysit for 3 different families throughout the week/weekend as well.
