I have always been a nurturer, even when I was a kid I loved to look after the other kids and play mother. I'm now a mother of two and have brought up my children through infancy, toddler-hood and now my oldest is seven. My four year old has a small verbal and motor delay so I have experience dealing with this, and understand how frustrating communication can be for young children, even when they are up to speed. I particularly love working with infants and toddlers, helping them to learn new things such as counting, letters, or doing crafts off of Pinterest. I also love animals, have access to my own car (a minivan), and can come to your home. I believe what makes me an excellent caregiver is my love for children, they are each so unique and have such interesting perspectives of the world, especially when they're Read more still just figuring it out. I think children should have as long as possible to enjoy being a kid and will be there to keep them happy, safe (and distracted!) until their caregivers return. I would prefer to bring my son with me some days, if we can work that out, and possibly my daughter – she is going to camp for the summer, but if you needed weekend help or something last minute then she would tag along. They're both extremely sociable and loving, they love kids and babies. I really do care about children and am hoping that I can help families feel comfortable leaving their children with me, I understand the relentless search for childcare and how very hard it can be to find someone you can trust. I want parents to know if they do choose for me to care for their children that I take it very seriously and will give them all the attention that they need.
