Hi! I’m a PhD student in English who genuinely loves working with kids and helping families feel supported and at ease. I’ve always enjoyed being a sitter because it gives me the chance to be creative, patient, and engaged whether that means reading stories, helping with homework, or coming up with fun, low-key activities that fit a child’s interests and energy level.I have several years of paid babysitting experience caring for children ages 3–12 within my family, and I also spent a year teaching high school students with special needs. That experience helped me develop a calm, flexible approach and taught me how important it is to meet kids where they are. I’m attentive, dependable, and comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and learning styles. With my background in teaching and academics, I’m happy to help with homework, reading, and structured activities, but I also value play, imagination, and downtime.
