As I am a mother of 3, caring for children is my passionate full time job. I have many years of experience working with youth of various ages ranging from newborns old to young adults. I have worked as a camp counselor, daycare provider, nanny and mother's helper. As a care provider, I do my best to intertwine my style of care with the philosophy of each individual family I have the pleasure of working with. While attending college (psychology major, philosophy minor) I was a full time nanny. During this time, I also became a mother. This has been my greatest accomplishment. In my spare time, I enjoy writing and refurbishing old furniture. I have written several books, including a children's series, due to be published in 2018. I am fluent in English and have a basic understanding of American Sign Language, a skill I graciously developed during a 3 year employment working with individuals with developmental disabilities. I am a regular church attendee and the wife of a minister. As it shows, I have a passion for working with a variety if individuals. Although much of my experience involves caring for younger children, I have experience working with elders as I am a certified home health aide. I currently work as a private care duty aide, caring for elderly individuals in their homes, specializing in end of life care. I also have experience caring for pets and developmentally disabled children and adults. I am always open to whomever is placed in my path and I welcome any family who feels we would be a perfect fit for each other.
