Hello, my name is Erikah. I recently moved to Atlantic Highlands with my husband who is stationed with the Coast Guard out of Staten Island for the next 3 years. I'm 30 years old with a lifetime of experience with kids. I have 8 brothers and sisters with 6 of them younger than me and I was changing diapers and helping raise them for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I also was a nanny for a family with twins from the moment they were born up to 2 years old. This past summer I babysat for a couple families while living in North Carolina, with the children's ages ranging from 3 months- 7 years old. I also was a tutor for a 14 year old who needed help making it into the 9th grade. Last year I worked as a nanny for two families on Read more Staten Island- one with an 8 year old young man for whom I prepared dinner, snacks, and help with homework. The other family had a 1 year old who I kept occupied during the days with outdoor activities and lots of reading as he learned how to walk and explore the world around him. References for all jobs are available upon request. I'm well educated, was home-schooled through high school and then earned my Bachelors Degree from Kent State University. I'm a very creative, fun person and believe in keeping children active and helping to spark their imagination. My husband and I live in a large home In a lovely area of Atlantic Highlands near the water and downtown. I would be willing to watch children or animals here in my house if that works better for you, or I would be willing to travel anywhere in the general vicinity.
