Hello! My name is Mallika and I am currently a student at Kalamazoo College studying English and Political Science. I babysat throughout high school for children ages 3 years old to 12 years old. I was a dance teacher and an assistant dance teacher for students ranging from 2nd grade to 6th grade. During my first year of college, I tutored elementary school children in math and reading. I was the dance coach at the a camp for elementary and junior high school students. I volunteered at a program in Atlanta, Georgia, for children with physical and mental disabilities. This past summer, I led eight incoming college students on a 16-day backpacking, canoeing, and climbing trip in the Adirondacks Kalamazoo College's optional orientation program.
