As an actor, I'm drawn to jobs and opportunities that allow me to interact with other humans. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Theatre. I love to play games, get creative, and have adventures but I also know time needs to be made for chores, homework, and rest. I'm an older sister to three siblings. My motherly and caretaking instincts have been put to work throughout my upbringing. I know how to take care of the people and things in my life. Along with being an older sister, I babysat throughout my junior high and high school years. I watched, fed, tutored, and played with kids ranging from 1-13 years old. Although I didn't have as much time to babysit in my college years, I developed my skills in play and imagination and interacted with children through workshops and educational settings. For the Read more past four years, I have worked as a Theatre Teacher for elementary school children. I have created a safe space for them to make big choices, grow socially, understand and articulate their feelings, and connect with one another. I am currently continuing my educational journey at NYU, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Drama Therapy with goals to use the skills and degree in providing workshops and resources for marginalized communities in the future. While watching over your children and putting their health and safety first, I hope to instill in them a stronger appetite for being kind to others, a more creative and explorative imagination, and the power of positivity in life. These are values I uphold and incorporate into my life every day.
