Hi! I recently completed my masters degree in Speech-language Pathology at the University of Washington. My studies have provided me great experiences working with children. While studying in Seattle, I babysit a 2.5 year old girl. Prior to moving to Seattle, I lived in Washington DC where I babysit on a weekly basis. The children ranged in age from 3 months old to 7 years old. I watched a 5 year old for 2 years until he was 7 and began school. Later, I watched a 3 month old and a 2 year old together for 8 months. I was responsible for diaper changes, nap time, snacks, night time routines and being a great play partner. I love playing with kids indoors and outside, creating fun new games and being the best play partner for a child! I am easy going, loving, friendly and responsible. I have spent 5 years as an ocean lifeguard during the summers; therefore I have my CPR and first aid certification. I am also willing to supervise swimming.

We want to highly recommend Alex as a babysitter. We met and worked with Alex while visiting family in Seattle and she was just the nicest, sweetest and most responsible person. She did a great job making us feel very comfortable having to leave our newborn daughter behind while attending various events with family. Alex was very accommodating to our loose and changing schedule and was quite understanding having to babysit for long nights in a hotel room. Alex would be great for any ages but did a wonderful job with our 8 week old!
