I am a college undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania. Growing up, I often babysat my little brother who has autism; thus I have a lot of experience with special needs children. Over the years I've developed a level of patience that is rare for an 18-year-old to have. I work very well with children in general because of this. I have wonderful communication skills, which was helpful when I worked as a day camp counselor at Driftwood Day camp. But I also love to have fun, which made me especially popular among my campers. At school I volunteer with children through Big Brothers Big Sisters and a program called Write On, so I have experience mentoring sixth and seventh graders. Further, I can provide tutoring services if needed. I have tutored physics, math and English in the past, and would love to help children complete their homework.
