At age 15, I started babysitting for local families in my hometown of Plymouth, Michigan. Since then, I've followed my love for education and have been formally trained as an environmental educator. On the Gulf Coast, I worked for a science-art integrated nonprofit creating curriculum that connected middle schoolers to their local environment, helping schools build gardens and restore native habitat, and creating lots of art-science activities! I've also worked as a volunteer teacher in local Long Island schools teaching students a variety of historical art techniques like beading and weaving. As your babysitter, I would take your children on many adventures and create fun enriching activities!
