I started babysitting when I was in middle school, It was for my neighbors children and soon, the whole block was asking me to babysit. Once I reached high school, I babysat each weekend and over the summer, going on vacation with family's and even caring for a family with triplets. Once I enetered college, I worked as a daycare operator. I took care of approximately ten for a woman who had a daycare in her home. Once I graduated from Hood College with a degree in environmental science and a kum laude distinction , I began work as a personal assistant. I would pick the children up after school and run them to various activities as well as play games with them and assist them with homework. After I left this job, I moved to Korea and became an English teacher at a pre-school in Seoul, South Korea. As Read more a teacher, I not only monitored classroom behavior but I also developed lesson plans and cooking classes that taught English in a creative and fun way. Currently, I am conducting research for a master's degree in environmental science. I also work at the Nature of Things. This organization brings animals into schools to help enrich classroom education through experiential learning. Not only do I conduct a multitude of educational programs for elementary school children, but I also routinely run after school programs where I must teach and manage 15 children on my own. At times, such a task can be difficult but I am fun, friendly, and energetic and find that the children generally enjoy their time with me. Currently, I am looking for extra work during the week to help with some student loans. Hopefully I can help you care for your family!!!!
