Sophia was great with our son. Our son is quite spirited and we needed someone in a pinch who could match his energy. Sophia helped our family out a lot during a challenging time.

Sophia was great in her interview. Very smart, good energy, interacted well with the kids. We used her a couple of times and the kids seemed to like her. But scheduling was an issue. Two times illness or last minute car issues meant she had to reschedule a day or two ahead or even hours before she was supposed to arrive. We rescheduled with her once for our own conflict and she was flexible, so it didn't seem unfair to be flexible for her when she needed to reschedule, even if it was inconvenient to change plans last minute. She was usually responsive via text and would even text reminders before a date we had her scheduled. But then we tried to schedule a few weeks ahead knowing she had some personal travel dates this summer to schedule around. I didn't hear from her a few days ahead like usual so reached out the her a few times via text and sitter city to confirm. She completely ghosted us. Maybe her travel plans were extended, maybe she has other personal matters, but we would expect to have at least some communication when she is not available to keep an appointment scheduled weeks in advance. Luckily, we could change our plans when we didn't hear from her. Unluckily, we now need to find a new baby sitter.

She was scheduled to come at 5:30 PM, texted the morning of the appointment simply saying that she could not be there. No explanation whatsoever. If you care about actually having your provider show up, avoid this one.
