My name is Adrianna but everyone calls me Addie, and I absolutely adore children! My husband and I moved to DC from upstate NY due to his career move in the Marine Corps. My mother had an in home day care center for years and I started to gain experience helping her care for and take care of those children, From there I took a certificate course in high school for early childhood education, where I worked hands on in both a daycare and a preschool setting, There I set up lesson plans and planned entire days full of activities for the children ranging from under a year to 4 years. Also in high school and throughout college I also babysat for many families in my home town as well as family. In my down time I enjoy being outside, whether it be reading a book by the pool or Read more taking a walk around the city. I also enjoy horse back riding and riding ATVs. I love learning new things to teach children, and spending time outside and being active rather than having them sit in front of a television or computer game. I love to cook healthy meals and snacks, with the occasional treat, and I also try to clean what is around me while I work. I also have expensive volunteer experience.
