Meet Jerryll

I am currently a Nursing student at Columbia University graduate. While I study for the Nursing Boards, I am looking into babysitting part time. I have a passion for taking care of children and as a younger sister, I learned a lot of things about caregiving, because of how well my sister had taken care of me while we were growing up. My past experience in babysitting was volunteering at a daycare at the University I was studying at for undergrad, where i looked after kids ranging from 4 to 14. Although I volunteered for only about 4 months, I loved working with kids and helping them grow that over time I picked up more shifts. I find that engaging with the kids in play and in conversation allows them to be excited and curious, leading them to better learning habits. I have babysat for families at church and was Read more employed as a designated babysitter to a family for about 3 years. I have cared for babies and for older children. The kids I work with often called me their older sister, and looked up to me because I was willing to meet their needs with care and sweetness.
