We were lucky enough to have Stefanie as our nanny from September until last month, when we relocated up to Boston. She was more incredible than we could ever have hoped and I will be slightly jealous of whoever is lucky enough to have her watch their children next. Stefanie watched my 1- and 3-year-old all day, and was constantly playing with them and reading to them. She would take them to the park (she ran around and played with them on the swings instead of sitting on the bench watching) and to the library (they brought bags and bags of books home!). Actually, every month she chose a different theme for the books they brought home, like Christmas or fall or Thanksgiving, which I thought was great. I would often come home to a spotless house and freshly-baked muffins and breads, as she loves to have the children help her bake -- the kids also did crafts and painting and drawing with her, which they loved. I went off to work every day knowing that my children were safe and happy with her. She became a beloved part of our family after just a couple days and we miss her so much already!

She also potty-trained my son in less than a week: no fuss, no hassle, just a happy 2.5 year old who was so proud to wear his big boy underwear. I went off to work every day knowing that my children were safe and happy with her. She became a beloved part of our family after just a couple days and we miss her so much already!
