Hi my name is Meaghan! I am a college graduate from Fairfield university. I have over 10-15 years experiences taking care of children and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have taken care of children of all ages, whether they were main stream, or children with special needs. I have worked with kids with ADHD, autism, and behavioral issues. I am patient, kind, warm hearted, and love to keep kids engaged in activities that stimulate their minds. I love for children to be in touch with their creative side and keep their imagination alive. I am not the type of nanny/caregiver who will let a child sit in front of the tv or iPad all day long, only as a reward for a little while after everything get done. I love to encourage children to read and expand their imaginations. I have an old soul but a young heart and believe it is most important to always be learning, while also having fun doing it. I was trained as a behavioral therapist and was working as one for several months until my father became ill a few years ago. I then took care of him until he passed a year and a half ago. I would love to get back into working with children as I believe they are our future and we have to teach these little guys and gals how to grow into their most amazing self, so they can achieve anything they put their mind to, along with hard work, determination, and passion.
