Hello, and welcome to my page! I am currently enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in Inclusive Elementary Education at OWU, and minoring in Zoology. I possess several years of experience babysitting for parents in my neighborhood, family friends, a handful of families on Care.com, and have watched after my three younger siblings during our adolescence. I also obtain a tutoring background, dabbling in both elementary schools and in homes. I love to read, write, draw, play outside, engage in sporting activities, take care of animals, sing and dance, as well as make kiddos laugh. Having fun is essential in my caretaker philosophy, but safety will always remain my first priority. I am trustworthy, dependable, and most importantly, am able to establish trust and rapport with children. I am a safe and licensed driver, and would be happy to run errands or take the kids to the park and elsewhere, if given permission. The sitter role has been an integral aspect of my life as I have learned various ways to manage behavior, observed differing personalities in children, and have dedicated myself to understanding the needs and patterns of kids with special needs; factors including these have been crucial in my ever-growing experience and out-of-classroom education, molding my role as an influential teacher for my future students to depend on. While I don't have professional experience babysitting, I have 2 younger siblings who I've nearly raised as my own kids since they were young. I am CPR and first aid certified. Hi!! My name is Stephany. I am one of 10 children, I being the oldest and the youngest being 9 years old. There are 7 boys and 3 girls. Most of them are in there teens now, but I have personal experience with a different ages. One of my brothers is handicapped and diagnosised being mentally retarded with a behavior disorder, so I also have some experience with disabled children as well. I also have experience babysitting outside of my family. I used to babysit for my really good friend who has 2 children. Also from March 2017 to September 2017 I worked in a day care. I started out working my first two weeks in the toddler room and then moved over to the infant room 1-2 years of age, and finally settling into the baby room working with children 6 weeks to 1year. From 2018-2021 I worked for a family who had 4 children various ages. I would focus on the youngest during the school year and would have all 4 during the summer anywhere between 2-4 times a week. I currently started working with a family in September of 2021. I work with several kids now 2-3 regularly. Most of my toddlers will be starting preschool this year, so I am looking to move to in-home care at my house and bring in 1-2 more families or 1-2 more newborns-toddlers long term!!

Besides raising my own 2 children on my own, I have worked with children in school systems from preschool to 2nd grade mostly. I currently am working at the achievement center for children and working with autistic children in grades 2nd-4th. I also an extensive experience with children of all abilities and of all ages, as I had my first 6 years in preschool. I love working with children and watching them grow and knowing I had a part of that growth makes me feel like I made a difference and that is why I love what I do.

Hi - my name is Jordyn, and I just graduated from Ohio Dominican University, where I played soccer and got a degree in Exercise Science. I work/have worked with toddlers and kids (5-12) at my local YMCA, running various camps and working at a child watch program. My responsibilities have included crafts, tutoring, teaching various sports, and organizing group games/activities. In camp, my ratio was 1:18, so I am comfortable watching any number of kids. Being a former college athlete, I love being active with the kids I work with. Whether it’s teaching them new activities, playing board games, baking, or playing outside, I love to see them learn while having fun! Hi! My name is Hannah and I am 31. From 2020 - 2021 I was a full-time nanny for a 2 year old, 3 year old, and 6 year old (all siblings). And was a nanny for families with kids ranging with children from ages 1 to 6years old from 2022-2023. I am a personal professional blog writer since 2015, am in the process of obtaining my BA in Creative Writing, have typing skills, and have been an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician/ABA therapist) full time since June of 2023. I have had 13 years working with children from babies to older teenagers. Prior to becoming an RBT I, in addition to working at multiple day cares and preschools, while taking care of a range of children (including some with special needs/autism), some of the experiences I've had throughout the years with children/teenagers would be: Being a PSR 2nd and 3rd grade teacher for a number of years. As well as being youth councilor on retreats (2 years), Confirmation Formation Assistant for teens at my Church parish (1 year), and a Youth Minister Assistant for a littler over a year from 2022 - 2023. As an RBT/autism behavior therapist I love helping shape our client's behavior and communication skills, and helping them to communicate and to grow. While allowing them to still be themselves and respecting them as little humans and embracing all that they are and can be while meeting them where they're at. Making positive changes in children's and their families lives and giving families hope. I'm reliable, patient, caring, attentive, creative, flexible, easy going person, a planner, creative, fun, organizer, outgoing, structured, and like to multitask. I absolutely love working with children, especially children with special needs and who may be seen as a minority in society, and helping them reach their full potential.
