Working in the ED at Cincinnati Children’s has also taught me the importance of patience, as every child and family is experiencing different emotions and situations that require understanding, compassion, and individualized care. This experience has helped me build strong relationships with children and families while creating a supportive and comforting environment during stressful moments. Spending time caring for my younger cousins has also shown me how much I enjoy being around kids and helping create a supportive environment for them. I am also actively working toward obtaining CPR and First Aid certification to continue strengthening my skills and preparedness when caring for children. I currently am an assistant director at a daycare . Prior to this job I was a director at a daycare in Milford for 5 years and a nanny for a family of 4 children for 5 years. As someone with younger cousins, family members, and a deep rooted love for the babysitter I had as a child, I've learned to love child care.
