Hello! I am Ellie, and I have a very BIG passion for the education and well being of children of all ages. Currently, I reside in Logan County in Ohio with my husband and puppy, and I teach grades 5-6 special education in a very rural school setting. I am a 2015 graduate from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Intervention Specialist and Early Childhood Education. I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, attending church functions and I really like coffee. If I could spend my day doing anything, it would be reading on a front porch swing with a nice glass of lemon water (and coffee)! I have had over 300 hours of teaching experience in the classroom with children grades K-12, over 500 hours with children in grades 7-8 and I've spent endless hours babysitting since I was younger. I've had 10 Read more years of babysitting experience, and I have participated in a variety of volunteer opportunities revolved around working with young children. I have worked in a church nursery for ages infant- 5 years. I have been a nanny in previous summers. While being a nanny, I provided nutritional meals, educational games and activities, transported and participated in YMCA Day Camp, library activities, and other recreational activities (like the pool!). I do have my background check and am more than willing to provide my resume and references upon request. I am currently CPR/First-Aid certified. *I am seeking a part-time babysitting or tutoring job for my summer off (June 1-August 10) from teaching.
