Hi! My name is Jae, and I’m an English education major (I go to Capital University, and I’m hoping to teach high school Literature)! I love serving my community and building strong bonds with everyone I meet. I am a professional (but fun) person, and I am always trying to put myself in new and exciting positions, and I am always open to learning new things (because who knows that you’re going to face when you’re an educator, haha). I’ve got nine siblings, and eight of them are younger than me, so I’ve got a ton of experience working with younger folks. One my younger siblings has ASD and anxiety, so I’ve also got good experience working with kiddos that might need some extra help and support :,) I also used to volunteer at an equestrian therapy center for neurodivergent youth, so I also have experience outside of family. I Read more love meeting new people, and I get along with animals quite well, so pets do not bother me (I’ve got a cat myself, her name is Goose). I’m fully vaccinated (plus my booster), and I live with immuno-compromised people, so I’ve been proactive and safe about COVID since day one.
