Hello! My name is Makayla, and I received my bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders in May. This fall, I will be remaining at Bowling Green State University to pursue a master's degree in speech-language pathology. I have received thorough education in psychology, human development, speech and hearing sciences, and linguistics, but have also completed several supplementary courses in special education, gerontology, and American Sign Language. In addition to my coursework, I have worked at a local preschool as a childcare provider for children between the ages of two and 10 for the past two years. I am proud to have completed several childcare-related training programs for this position, including courses in CPR, first aid, child abuse, and communicable diseases. I am currently looking for summer work, and would love to provide care for your children or loved ones as a nanny, babysitter, pet sitter, or older adult companion!
