Hello, My name is Morgan Valente. I recently graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's in science of education. I majored in Early Childhood Education and minored in Special Needs Education Mild/Moderate. When I was not in school I worked at a local daycare where I had the opportunity to work with children from the ages of 6 months to 5 years old. While at the daycare I was responsible for creating fun and hands-on lessons that allowed students to learn their colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and basic word recognition. I also assisted the younger children with potty training. On a personal level, I enjoy being outside or keeping active. I love to travel and hike. I love working with children because I love being able to connect with them and get to them on a deeper level, this also helps when coming up with lessons.
