My parents have had an in-home daycare for 23 years, so for my entire life and then another 4 years before I was born. I grew up in the daycare and, under the observation and guidance of my parents, learned how to properly care for children. I have learned to care for children ages newborn to middle school. I'm very confident caring for children 1 to 12 years old on my own. I do not feel comfortable caring for an infant younger than 6 months on my own due to a lack of experience in infant CPR.
