How’s it going! my name is Gina,I’m 23 and I have been watching children since I could walk to my neighbors house by myself. Starting as a part time babysitter who would get younger kids off the bus and help with homework and play with them until their parents were done with work to: Date nights when parents just needed a bit of a break. The most recent continuous job I have had in this field; I babysat two boys ages 5 and 7 (when I first started watching them). I watched them for 4 years, every weekday after school as their mom was a teacher at another school district and would not be off until hours later. I would make sure they did homework, play outside if the weather permitted it and would occasionally cook dinner. I moved away to college and stopped babysitting those two boys and still stay in contact with them from time to time as their mother recently passed away from late stage brain cancer. The best part of this kind of job is being able to support the kids I watch and be there for them through fun simple things all the way to the tough moments. I am currently looking for a part time job to get back on my feet as I recently moved back home after being in the hospital for over two months I’m recovered but living alone in Columbus would have to be put on hold. I am eager to spend time with kids again and do what I do well. Thanks!
