I am a certified intervention specialist (K-12) with a reading endorsement. I am currently in my fourth year of teaching and just obtained my five year, professional teaching license. I work with students with special needs in a full inclusion setting, providing interventions to support individual learning needs. I work closely with my co-teachers to plan and implement instruction. I communicate regularly with my students' parents to update them on progress and behavior. I have had multiple babysitting jobs since I was in high school. I have babysat for families of four children (ages 1-6), one child (age 1), and two children (ages 1 and 3) to name a few. I also have worked in a daycare over the summer (during college) as a school age teacher, planning activities and supervising at least 18 children between the ages of 6-12 during the day. I also had the priveledge of being Read more a camp counselor and later camp director for Frontier Day Camp- a camp for children with special needs during summer 2012 and 2013. I was responsible for planning and monitoring daily summer camp activities for children with special needs (ages 6-13) as well as managing over 20 high school camp counselors and volunteers. The past couple summers I have spent with my two nephews (1 and 3 years old). I am currently looking for a babysitting job for this upcoming summer. I also am available for summer tutoring in ELA and math. I am getting married in 2018 so I am looking for an enjoyable way to spend my summer while also making some extra $ :). I also wouldn't mind babysitting for some weekend date nights!
