Hello! I am a loving mother of a wonderful son, and I am looking for a way to make some extra income doing something that I would love. I have been in the healthcare field (pharmaceutical sales) for 19 years, and I was recently laid off. I have found another position working for a hospice company, but the income is not where it was. I'm a single mom, and have raised a wonderful, straight-A (5th in his high school class!) student. My son is a junior in high school and is pretty independent, even working his own job- so I have some extra time nowadays and would love to help a family out that is in the process of raising their children to be kind, considerate, and intelligent. I would welcome caring for children of all ages from birth to teenage. I would adapt to whatever ages I watched and Read more would spend time doing whatever was appropriate for each age. For the older children, I would love to spend time the old fashioned way by playing board games and learning. Video games or electronics are ok sometimes, but interaction and communication are a dying aspect of maturity that are lacking and need to be practiced. For infants, of course holding and rocking and tending to their needs. And, toddlers are exploding with learning and investigating, and safety would be my priority along with some game playing and hide-and-seek, of course...lol. I would also enjoy cleaning, cooking, or playing sports games if appropriate (I'm a pretty active 52 year old!)
