I have worked with children for most of my life whether it be babysitting for my neighbors or volunteering in the nursery and children's classrooms at my church. I was a part-time nanny during the summer of 2015 for a 4 and 6-year-old. We stayed busy by going to the pool, park, aquarium, and even the Red's parade. From October 2016-May2017 I worked with a 13-year-old by picking him up from school and taking him home. I tidied up the house and made sure the boy was doing his homework. This past summer I worked with an 8-year-old and 12-year-old. I picked them up from their summer camps, did laundry, made them dinner (such as salmon and pastas), emptied the dishwasher, and other household chores the mom wanted me to do while the parents were at work. I am an early childhood education major so I plan on working with Read more kids the rest of my life!
