Hello! My name is Greta and I in my third year of school at University of Cincinnati, majoring in neuroscience with the tentative goal to become a pediatric doctor. Outside of school I like to paint, draw, and sculpt, and I run a very small business selling clay pieces (it's very new and definitely still experimental, but fun!). I babysat for nine years back home in Cleveland and I have been lucky enough to babysit/nanny for some other wonderful families here in Cincinnati over the past two and a half years as well! Between the 30+ families I have worked with, I have experience with all ages from 5 week olds through 14 year olds. I have worked as a summer nanny for six years now, and I have continued to babysit on weekdays and weekends whenever I can! I am CPR certified and actually taught first aid for three years back home in Cleveland, and I stay up-to-date on all the safety recommendations and procedures. I love to cook/bake and I love to turn it into a kid-friendly activity, I tutored throughout high school so I'm happy to help with homework, and I grew up playing sports and spending most of my time outdoors so I'm very comfortable on that front as well! I have a reliable car and am willing to commute and transport children whenever necessary. Through the years I have worked for families with dogs, cats, lizards, Guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, snakes, hermit crabs, turtles, birds, and fish. I have two cats back home in Cleveland and one little kitten who lives with me here in Cincinnati :) I grew up going to a Montessori school, so my mindset when working with children is to facilitate learning and independence in every possible situation. Communication is key both between parents and caregivers in a professional sense, and between caregivers and children in the sense that we are all able to express feelings, needs, and reasoning through words. I also grew up in a no-screens during the week household so I know how to come up with creative activities to entertain kids outside of a tv or tablet! I do enjoy the occasional movie night or video game sesh too :) My favorite part about working with children is watching them make connections. I have found that being with children gives me a new perspective on seemingly mundane aspects of life, and I thoroughly enjoy watching and helping them learn and grow. Kids are so much fun to work with! I love nurturing their imaginations through arts and crafts, pretend play and encouraging new learning by giving them developmentally-appropriate opportunities. I have worked with kids for 10 years, in summer camps, babysitting jobs, a daycare, nannying and also as an assistant teacher. While my bachelors degree is in French, I did take a number of education classes so I am familiar with teaching protocols. I am also CPR/First said certified. I have a clean driving record and love park, nature and library excursions with kiddos!

I am a stay at home mother of a 5 year old boy and a 5 mo old baby girl. I have been working for the past 8 years for the Great Parks of Hamilton County as a Conservation & Parks Technician. I am looking for some part time work while still caring for my babies. My son just started Kindergarten. I drop him off at 8:30 and pick him up at 3:30 every week day. We love to play outside and visit different playgrounds around the area. We have a large backyard with a play set, a sandbox, and a garden to play in. We are members of the Cincinnati Nature Center and frequent the Library.

Hello! I am a 31 year old teacher currently living in Cincinnati, OH. In high school I took ECE 1 & ECE 2 . During that time I had two internships that each last for a year. One at a Montessori school, and one at a preschool. I was able to work with different ages of children learning their individual developments for their age groups. I also was able to get hands on experience in the special needs classroom, and was even able to be apart of the special Olympia’s which was such an honor. After graduation I decided to go to school and also get more experience working at a preschool between the infant- 4 year old room for about a year. After, I started working at an academy k-12 school where I got to experience different ages on another scale. I'm reliable, dedicated, and I absolutely love what I do. It comes naturally to me.
