I make sure all kids are happy and well taken care of. I have a daughter that just turned five in October. She’s such a sweet girl, shes really shy and always looking to make new friends. We have no family here so she doesn’t really interact with other kids unless at school and that makes her so happy . I make breakfast lunch and dinner everyday. Hello! I am a 31 year old teacher currently living in Cincinnati, OH. In high school I took ECE 1 & ECE 2 . During that time I had two internships that each last for a year. One at a Montessori school, and one at a preschool. I was able to work with different ages of children learning their individual developments for their age groups. I also was able to get hands on experience in the special needs classroom, and was even able to be apart of the special Olympia’s which was such an honor. After graduation I decided to go to school and also get more experience working at a preschool between the infant- 4 year old room for about a year. Hello, my name is Summer and I am currently a junior at the University of Cincinnati, studying early childhood education in hopes to be an elementary school teacher. Over the years I have babysat and nannied for many families, and children aged 0 to 13. I’ve also worked many different schedule types, and am flexible and open to working schedules that I have not used in the past! I have been in the childcare business for over 20 years. I've worked in several daycare facilities and preschools as well as working for private families and groups. For 7 years I ran my own in home daycare but ended up closing it due to covid and at the same time birthing my daughter. I have recently moved, the covid pandemic is behind us hopefully and I have reopened my in-home daycare so I can continue doing what I love. I have basically raised so many children from infancy through their school years and consider them to be my adopted children. Childcare is a passion of mine that will never leave me, its here to stay.

Kids are so much fun to work with! I love nurturing their imaginations through arts and crafts, pretend play and encouraging new learning by giving them developmentally-appropriate opportunities.
