Hello! :) My name is Helena, I'm a 25 year old jazz singer, writer, and sitter based in Cincinnati, Ohio. I grew up in a big Italian family as the first born, so I have a lot of experience in caring for littles. I personally love to be with children because to see the world through their eyes is a gift, they are so honest and pure, which is why every moment with them is important and honestly an honor. I am endlessly patient but stern (only when the situation calls). I understand that children need a balance between structure and freedom, and developing that balance is only really possible if you can be patient enough to figure out what each individual child responds to. I'm a Gemini (haha) so my inner child is very much alive, aka chaos and things that annoy most people just...don't bother me (probably a Read more side effect of patience). Heads up: I am just as specific about the jobs I accept as parents (hopefully) are about sitters they choose. I will more than likely only accept one sitter gig at a time, so that I can really be present and not overwhelmed. The dynamic has to allow for the littles to be comfortable. If I feel there is not a good flow between me and the littles, I will not waste anyones time by interjecting into their daily routines.
