I started my journey off by volunteering at a bilingual Sunday school. I worked with children of the age 4-5, and helped them develop their reading and writing skills in Spanish. It was mostly helping them with their drawings and communicating with them to develop social skills. I also worked at Hyde Park Play School where I monitored children of the age of 10 months - 4 years old. I would engage with the children, play with them, and would help those of age with their craft projects and learning activities. I enjoy what I do, as working with children as everyday is a different experience. I enjoy seeing how kids develop skills and how they see the world and how I can be of good influence to them.
