I have always enjoyed playing/working with children, whether it be when I teach swimming lessons, or my internship at The City Mission's summer camp, I enjoy engaging with kids. I worked in the Nursery at my church for a few years, as well as being a student leader in a few years of Vacation Bible School. As I grew older, I began to teach swimming lessons to 4 - 7 year olds, helping them learn the basics of freestyle, the flutter-kick, etc. And this past summer, I interned as a Family and Youth Programming Assistant at the City Mission, leading a day camp with several other college students. I have a good amount of experience with baby-sitting children (ages ranging from 3-12). I know how to have fun with kids, providing a structured yet enjoyable time! Over the years, I have had many food-service jobs, and I come from a Read more family of "foodies" - so I would also be able to prepare simple, healthy meals for your kids. I also recently purchased a very safe car, which means I can transport the kids to any appointments or sports events! I will truly work around your family's needs!
