I have many years of working with children and youth under my belt. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2018 with a degree in Social Work and a minor in Child Abuse and Neglect and a focus in Child Welfare. I completed my internship at Children Services And have worked there for 2 years. Following that, I investigated the abuse and neglect of people with disabilities in a variety of settings. During my time in college I also worked at Star House-a drop in center for youth experiencing homelessness. I am well versed in child development and have been trained in first aid including adult, child and infant CPR w/ AED. Currently looking for a friendly family to assist with their childcare needs while I transition my career. I love the outdoors and think it’s important that children are exposed to nature and are getting outside and are Read more active. Science is also a passion and hobby of mine so you can expect use to be conducting some fun experiments as well. I am able to set and keep a regular and productive schedule while mixing in a good amount of fun. I believe that the parent should be the main disciplinarian however I am comfortable enforcing basic and safety rules with non-physical corrections. I am able to drive and transport children and am trained to instal and use a variety of car and booster seats. I own a 2018 Hyundai Kona with several Safty features.
