1. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and being a positive influence in their lives. Every child is unique, and I find joy in supporting their growth, creativity, and curiosity. Whether it’s reading a favorite story for the tenth time, doing crafts, or helping with homework, I love being part of their day and creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment 2. I have been a summer camp instructor working with kids 5-12 this past summer, as well work as a lifeguard supervisor and private lesson instructor for 6 years, working with kids of all ages and abilities. I've babysat my siblings, neighbors but have not worked with a family consistently due to work and school. I am a student at Kent State university but am in Columbus for the fall semester now-December 7th for a program called Columbus program in state issues Read more where i have 2 days of classes in the Columbus state house (Mon and tues) as well as a working internship wed-fri at the Ohio association of food banks. So i am looking for something temporary. I work till 4pm so can help anytime after work, weekends, etc. 3. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and trained in basic child safety. I also live in and work in the Columbus area. I have a car! I’m also a strong communicator, patient, and very organized. Qualities that help me connect with both kids and parents. I can assist with homework, light housekeeping, and managing schedules or routines. My goal is always to be reliable, trustworthy, and someone both children and parents can feel comfortable with.
