I started babysitting for families in Sleepy Hollow when I was a teenager. Before I knew it, as word spread, I was in high demand as THE sitter on Hunter Avenue. I have fond memories of children's laughter, cleaning sticky hands, and petting lots of family dogs. After earning my masters degree, I became an English teacher for nearly 10 years. During my travels I would again become the neighborhood sitter upon which moms and dads could rely. I take their trust very seriously, and have been quite exhausted after a day of being the best child guardian I can be. I've cared for newborns, toddlers, twins, middle schoolers, and young teenagers. I get excited to see what kind of spirit and unique personality a child will have. I then become a great listener as the child tells me his or her likes and dislikes. We have lots of fun, Read more but I won't be tested about bed time. Sorry. Mom and Dad told me 8 O'clock, so lets go brush our teeth and get tucked in for story time! My favorite thing to do is read to a child and I hope to have an opportunity to read to your children soon!
