Well look no further! Hello! My name is Valerie, but I go by Val. I have a lot of experience working with children since 2011. In 2011, I have volunteered at the library, in which I helped elementary school aged children with their reading skills and comprehension. I would let them read to me, and then we would play reading based games. In 2013, I was hired at the Eagle's Nest at Giant Eagle, where I would watch and play with children ages 3-9 while their parents shopped. I usually watched 5-7 children at a time. However, the Eagle's Nest closed in October 2014, and I left the company. In 2014, I had the experience of interning at a Head Start, which is a preschool. The class had 17 children, and I helped the teacher and assistant teacher with their job. In 2015, I was hired at BioLife Plasma services Read more in the playroom. Here, I watch and play with children ages 6 months to 12 years. I usually watch about 2-5 children at a time. I have graduated top of my class in highschool at Eastlake North High School, I know basic EMT-B skills, and CPR, and I have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from John Carroll University. About me, I am a very patient, caring, creative, and energetic person. I love playing with children and getting down to their level. I find it easy to interact with children of all ages.
