I loved doing activities with the children I’ve cared for, loved teaching them through small things we see in everyday life, and overall having a great connection with the child(ren) and family. I went to upper valley career center my junior and senior year, working with children for those two years and worked in a daycare for a few months. Childcare has always been my dream job. I’ve been babysitting since I was about 12 years old, so I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience with kids of different ages and personalities. I was a Special Education Science teacher for K–8 students, so working with kids is something I did every day and genuinely enjoyed.
