Hello! My name is Kali and I’m a freshman dance major in the Ailey/Fordham University BFA program. I’m originally from Akron, Ohio where I used to work as a receptionist, assistant, and substitute teacher at my old dance studio. I was an assistant dance teacher in a nonprofit after school program for inner-city elementary schools and I assisted in introducing dance to children with disabilities. This year, I was blessed with an assistant teacher position at The Ailey School in the Junior Division. My favorite color is orange, I love dark chocolate, and I adore cats! I love babysitting because I appreciate the knowledge and inspiration children share.
