I am 24 years old and care for many of my friends' children and have for many years, including my own sister who is ten years my junior. As both of my parents worked long hours, I learned to take care of an infant and child full time..very early on. I've always enjoyed the humour and curiosity of children and I still have an awesome imagination (always looking to stay young at heart and open to growth and learning just as kids are.) I'm an especially good cook for my age (all of my friends love coming over for dinner as all of my meals are still homemade like they should be!) I'm very proud of that fact and find it very helpful in cases where I have to use that imagination to feed picky kids something nutritious! I love going out into the world and exploring what it has Read more to offer, from various animals to plants and outer space. Taking trips to the history museum and the zoo are an absolute must! I'm young but I feel the direct effects of technology from my own friends and family and truly feel that when it's time to learn or spend time together...the cell phone has got to go! Facebook and all. I'm looking to help pay for a little bit of my education but in a beneficial way, maybe educating someone else in the process! I think caring for children can be exciting instead of a burden, it just depends on the frame of mind! I don't use or abuse any substances including (but not limited to) alcohol and cigarettes. I am in college but take courses online which allows me to work full time and have a flexible schedule. Multi-tasking is in my nature and I'm always determined to move forward in life. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your little one(s)!
