I'm a level headed, respectful, interactive, compassionate person, who's provided the utmost care for all with whom I've come in contact. Children whom I've known seem to naturally intuit my good hearted character and are comfortable in my presence. I cherish the knowledge I gain of myself and children of themselves through our candid interaction.  I have two nephews: 4. 5 years and 1. 5 years old. I babysit them often, when my sister needs me. I have also been a volunteer tutor for second graders with mild to moderate learning disabilities for a year. I enjoy engaging in various learning activities with kids, going to the park and exploring the outdoors or going to museums. Crafts, art projects and science experiments are also very fun activities. My inner child is still very much alive, and I think this is partly why children warm up to me and trust me. Read more I discipline through talking out the situation and expressing hurt feelings, or explanations for why behavior needs to stop before resorting to more serious punishment such as "time outs", unless told to do otherwise by child's parent. Also, I am very clean and would assuredly maintain the cleanliness of your home. I am also a great cook, so healthy, wholesome meals would be easy for me to create for your child/children.
