Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel cared for. Every child is unique, and I find so much joy in creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where they can be themselves. I’m studying Early Childhood Education at Kent State, so spending time with kids also helps me apply what I’m learning and strengthen my skills for my future classroom. ⸻ What experience do you have? I have over 8 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including babysitting, daycare, church programs, and before-and-after school care at the YMCA. I’ve cared for children of all ages—from infants to elementary students—and have experience supporting special needs children as well. Through my Early Childhood Education program at Kent State, I’ve gained strong skills in classroom management, communication, and child-centered learning.
