Hello! My name is Bella, I am an undergraduate student at Kent State. I am majoring in special ed and psychology. I love working with children and hope to gain more experience! I’ve worked with children from ages 3 to 10 through my churches various after school programs.

I have 2 nieces and a nephew that I adore. Being around children gives you a fresh perspective that is needed within adult minds. I used to work at a daycare for about a year with kids ranging from month old babies to middle school children. I volunteered for the zoo and helped with the zoo camp. I also was able to teach a couple lessons to second graders. I used to tutor high school students and help them out with their homework. I also used to babysit and value outside time to play.

I have been a Writing teacher for about 2 years. Before starting this position, I was a Substitute Teacher for about 2 1/2 years, with grades K-5. Growing up, my Grandma ran a daycare. Once I was a teenager, I frequently helped her run her day care. Taking care of infants all the way up to 5 years old. I have such a love and passion for working with children. However, I need to take a step away from the classroom setting for a while, and work in a different environment.

I genuinely enjoy children. I'm not quite old enough as I'd like to be to have children yet so being a sitter would warm my heart to not only know I'm watching someone else's precious babies but also to give those parents or that single parent a break for a night or even an overnight evening. I'm not asking for a lot, just that someone will take the time to really look at my profile and notice I want to do as much as I can to help ANYBODY out!! When I was younger I was expected to raise my siblings, ever since then I've always wanted to help kids. I used to watch the daughter of group home workers, I watched her from when she was 8 months to 3 years old, and I loved every second of that job. I have learned cpr, but am no longer certified.
